On April 28, Wang Chongming, head of the China region of the International Association of MBAs and Business School Graduates Association (AMBA&BGA) and senior professor of liberal arts at Zhejiang University, gave guidance on the joint reaccreditation of AMBA &BGA of our school. College leaders, heads of model majors, and relevant staff of the accreditation office attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Deputy Dean Zhang Changzheng briefly introduced the continuous improvement work carried out by the MBA program and the engineering management model major of the college after the joint certification of AMBA and BGA in 2021. Deputy Dean Zhang Ke comprehensively sorted out the 2024 recertification report and accreditation preparations, and Zang Dexia, director of the Accreditation Office, reported on the progress of CIM optimization and model professional construction.
Professor Wang Chongming pointed out that the current international accreditation is gradually shifting from evaluation-oriented to development-oriented, and provides targeted guidance from the key work of the college's strategic planning, digital intelligence platform, curriculum setting, sustainability and green entrepreneurship. He emphasized that AMBA&BGA international certification attaches great importance to social responsibility education and green and sustainable development, and the model major needs to be further optimized in terms of training programs and curriculum settings, and the construction of 3 demonstration courses plus 1 characteristic course plus 6 core courses should be strengthened, and the concepts of green, responsibility and sustainability of BGA should be effectively integrated into daily teaching.
On behalf of the college, Deouty Dean Zhang Changzheng thanked Professor Wang Chongming for his careful guidance, and said that he would carefully decompose and implement various suggestions, continuously optimize the professional level, build characteristic courses, and promote the sustainable development of the college.
