From May 16 to 18, 2024, the International Project Management Association (IPMA) held the 28th International Project Management Congress in Alandjelovak, Republic of Serbia. Professor Zhang Yang, Dean of the World Water Valley Research Institute of Hohai University, Professor Zhang Changzheng, Deputy Dean of HHBS, Professor Zhang Ke, Deputy Dean of HHBS, Professor Zhou Haiwei and Associate Professor Zang Dexia were invited to attend the meeting.
With the theme of Project Management in the Digital Decade, the conference revealed the latest technology trends and project management strategies in the digital decade through panel discussions, roundtables, seminars, etc. The conference paid special attention to the IPMA Education and Training Registration System (IPMA REG), university accreditation, joint research projects, joint master's programs, etc., and encouraged universities with project management courses and degree programs to form global alliances and build a platform for inter-university cooperation.
During the meeting, HHBS signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the school of Organizational Sciences of the University of Belgrade, and both sides agreed to cooperate in key areas such as curriculum development, talent training, exchange visits between teachers and students, and joint application of scientific research projects. The University of Belgrade is one of the largest universities in the Balkan region and one of the oldest and most famous universities in Serbia, with a rich history and rich cultural heritage. Founded in 1863, the school now has 33 colleges, more than 5,000 teachers, and more than 70,000 students.
