In order to comprehensively strengthen the ideological and political construction of teachers and staff, and vigorously promote the spirit of educators, from May 24th to May 25th, the Party Committee of Business School organized some teachers and staff to go to the Party School of the Lu'an Municipal Party Committee in Anhui Province to carry out a two-day special training activity on teacher ethics and style construction.
This special training consists of two stages: theoretical learning and on-site teaching. In the theoretical teaching section, the trainees of the training class listened to a special lecture by Comrade Chen Zhaoqing, Vice President and Professor of the Party School of Lu'an City, on the theme of Monument to the Great Achievements of History - The Peony of the Heavenly River in the Human World at the Party School of Lu'an City. The students gained a deep understanding of the construction process and important role played by the Human Tianhe Pishihang project, and revisited the glorious history of the revolutionary predecessors in building the Pishihang water conservancy project that benefited Anhui and Henan, spanning the Yangtze River and Huaihe River under extremely difficult economic conditions. All students experienced the Pishihang spirit of self-reliance, tenacious struggle, relying on the masses, sacrificing and dedicating, scientific and pragmatic, and benefiting the people hidden behind the heroic feat up close.
In the on-site teaching session, the trainees of the training class visited the Foziling Reservoir, a large-scale arch dam reservoir designed by China with international advanced level in the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China, to understand the historical development and cultural inheritance of the local water conservancy engineering system, and to appreciate the wisdom and dedication of our water conservancy personnel in the great cause of governing the Huai'an people. As the saying goes, The Foziling Reservoir, a monument to governing the Huai River, has contributed to the prosperity of the present era.. We also visited the Anhui Red Regional Center Memorial Hall and the Sujiabu Campaign Memorial Hall in the Dabie Mountains. Through on-site explanations of historical pictures, physical objects, audio and video, we learned about the indomitable and successive revolutionary spirit of outstanding people in the Dabie Mountains in various historical periods. Never forget your original intention, keep your mission in mind, forge a monument forever, and preserve your spirit forever.
Through this training, the participating faculty received a profound spiritual baptism and historical education. Everyone expressed that in the future, they will inherit the spirit of the Red Revolution, further strengthen their ideals and beliefs, remember their original intention and mission of educating people for the Party and the country, continuously improve their political stance and professional ethics, promote the spirit of educators, and strive to be a great teacher in the new era.
