| In order to further improve the teaching quality of our school and promote the internationalization of business education, focusing on AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA, PMI accreditation, we began to make great efforts to achieve the international accreditation of business education since 2011. After a year of endeavors, we officially become a member of AACSB and EMFD organization. The preparations for AMBA accreditation application are in progress, at the stage of pre-accreditation at present, which indicates that we have made significant progress in internationalization accreditation application, laying the foundation for the upcoming formal accreditation. Annual Conference 2012 of EFMD (in charge of EQUIS accreditation) was held in Sofia Antipolis, France from May 13th to 15th 2012, on which, our school passed the verification to be a member of EFMD and it is declared that our school is in the process of EQUIS verification according to the relevant rules. The Annual Conference 2012 of AMBA was held in Barcelona, Spain from May 16th to 17th 2012-8-27, before which, Wang Chongming, professor of Zhenjiang University and Commissioner General in China of AMBA, had consulted with our experts regarding our AMBA accreditation. After the Annual Conference of AMBA, our school shall be in the stage of pre-accreditation. As the member unit, Professor Zhang Yang, the dean of our school and Professor Zhou Haiwei the deputy dean were invited to attend the Annual Conference of EFMD and AMBA. International accreditation constitutes the effective measures to improve the quality of business education, to promote the exchange of international business education and upgrade the competitiveness of business education. Currently, the domestic universities have generally speed up the international accreditation progress, and a large number of universities have and will be the provider of the mainstream international accreditation, including Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Sun Yat-sen University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Tongji University and Wuhan University. |
